Frequently Asked Question
We use premium, natural, cruelty-free shampoos and conditioners that are gentle on your dog’s skin. Hypoallergenic options are also available.
It depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Most dogs benefit from grooming every 4–8 weeks to maintain healthy skin, coat, and hygiene.
Yes! We groom dogs of all breeds and sizes, from tiny teacups to large working dogs. Each groom is tailored to your dog’s individual needs.
A full groom includes a bath, brush-out, blow dry, haircut to your desired style, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and a spritz of dog-friendly pawfume.
Our Bath & Tidy service is similar to a Wash & Dry, with the added benefit of a light trim around the feet and sanitary area to support your dog’s hygiene and wellbeing. If you're looking for any form of haircut, styling, or full de-matting, this would fall under our Full Groom service.
Of course! You're welcome to bring photos or describe your preferences at drop-off. We'll go over what's achievable for your dog’s coat type and condition during the pre-consultation at the start of your appointment.
If your dog has light matting, we may be able to gently de-mat the coat. For severe matting, we may need to clip the coat short for your dog’s comfort and wellbeing — we’ll always discuss this with you first. Please note, a matting fee of £20 will apply to cover the extra time and care required.
If your Doodle or similar long-haired breed isn’t groomed within the recommended 6-week interval, and their coat needs extra time to detangle or manage, an additional £20 extra time fee may apply. This ensures we provide the best care and keep your dog comfortable.
We do our best to minimise contact between dogs and keep them separate throughout their appointment. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we have a single groomer, so your dog will be the only one in the salon. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, we have two groomers working, which means there may be other dogs present, but they are always kept safely separated unless from the same household.
If we find fleas during grooming, a flea treatment fee of £20 will be added to cover the specialist cleaning and extra care needed. In severe cases, we reserve the right to refuse the appointment to protect other dogs and keep our salon flea-free. If this happens and the appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, the full payment will still be due in line with our cancellation policy. We’ll always let you know and discuss the best next steps with you.
